Red dresses always make a statement; and whatever the statement may be, it is difinitely not a subtle one.  

I wore this dress to a dance performance I had to watch for a class, and since it was at a theater it gave me the perfect excuse to dress up.

I had been looking for a new red dress and I just happened to find this one (on sale!). The dress has a square neckline (although you can't see it), which makes the dress a little more conservative. I think the silhoutte of the dress is very flattering and the details make it a very versatile piece.
